reflect/prototype: lower minimum support to Go1.9 The minimum supported version is currently Go1.10 since we use strings.Builder for a fairly significant optimization when constructing all of the descriptor full names. The strings.Builder implementation is not particularly complicated, so just fork it into our code. The golang/protobuf and the golang/go projects share the same authors and copyright license. This repository is for the development of the next major Go implementation of protocol buffers. This library makes breaking API changes relative to the existing Go protobuf library. Of particular note, this API aims to make protobuf reflection a first-class feature of the API and implements the protobuf ecosystem in terms of reflection.
