internal/flags: add package to control specialized functionality Package flags defines a set of constants to control support for certain features. Other flags that may be added in the future may include: PureGo: to control whether protobuf code should avoid using the unsafe package and only use Go reflection. PureProto: to control whether the proto package ignores the protoiface package and only uses protobuf reflection. This is useful for testing. Proto2ValidateUTF8: whether to validate UTF-8 in proto2 strings. Proto3ValidateUTF8: whether to validate UTF-8 in proto3 strings. WARNING: This repository is in active development. There are no guarantees about API stability. Breaking changes will occur until a stable release is made and announced.
This repository is for the development of the next major Go implementation of protocol buffers. This library makes breaking API changes relative to the existing Go protobuf library. Of particular note, this API aims to make protobuf reflection a first-class feature of the API and implements the protobuf ecosystem in terms of reflection.
